Condell Hospital Visitation Ministry
WHAT IS IT?
In response to an invitation by Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville, we have expanded our spiritual care of the sick & hospitalized. The Advocate Condell Hospital Visitation Ministry bring Holy Communion to patients at Advocate Condell Hospital on a regular basis Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays each week beginning at 9:00AM. For hospital patients the reception of Holy Communion is not only a spiritual benefit as they partake of the Body & Blood of Christ, but it's also a sign of support, comfort and concern shown by the Parish Community for its Members.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
The process to become an Advocate Condell Hospital Extraordinary Minister of Care is simple, but does require an investment of time to complete the required Archdiocesan training for hospital ministers and the formal application to become an authorized volunteer at Advocate Condell Hosptial which includes a health screening and orientation.
