Certificate Program

CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

St. Mary School uses the Certificate Program to support its operating expenses. We purchase gift cards every week at discounted rates then sell them at face value. Profits from the program go directly to the school.

School parents who purchase cards get half of the profit as a tuition credit. All tuition credits are applied monthly and used within the school year.

Parishoners who do not have a student at St. Mary School are encouraged to purchase gift cards. 100% of those profits go directly to St. Mary School.

HOW TO BUY CERTIFICATES/GIFT CARDS:

Gift Cards may be purchased at the school office during school hours, after weekend masses in the Narthex and every Market Day Saturday in the school gym. We have 17 stores in stock such as Dominick's, Jewel/Osco, Shell Gas and Kohl's. You may also order cards from 140 other stores and restaurants.

To order cards not in stock print the ORDER FORM from this page.

Write the cards and amounts you want. Include your full name and phone number.

Put the completed form and payment in an envelope, seal it, write “Certificate Order” on the front, Attention: Kristine Asmussen.

Give it to a program volunteer after mass or drop it off at the school office.

We order new cards every Monday of the school year!

Make checks payable to ST. MARY CERTIFICATE PROGRAM.

Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted with a minimum purchase of $200.00.

St. Mary of the Annunciation School and Parish participates in a food co-op called MARKET DAY.

Market Day, the original fundraising food co-op, has been in operation since 1975 and has grown to include thousands of schools just like ours. Market Day products are comparably priced and our organization will earn at least 10% of the wholesale value of the food we buy. We can earn this money without our students going door to-door, without purchasing products we wouldn’t ordinarily purchase, and with the knowledge that all products are of exceptional quality and covered by 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

Each month, restaurant-quality food products from companies such as Tropicana, Tyson, Smuckers, Campbell’s, Rich Sea Pack, Kraft, and Eli’s are available for purchase. The order form comes home with your student approximately two weeks prior to the order deadline date. Order forms can also be found in the Narthex of the Church. Please take a few minutes to review it and place an order. Take special notice of any insert products, these generally represent a profit to St. Mary’s above and beyond the normal 10%. Market Day is also a participant in theTuition Credit Program.

You can find out more about Market Day and even place your order online at www.marketday.com.
